SITE SUPERVISOR

We have been building quality, high performance custom homes in the Sea to Sky region since 2009.

Intentionally, we focus on a select number of projects per year, allowing our team to focus on the projects at hand, and the attention to detail required to deliver the caliber of home that has defined our reputation.

Blueline Contracting is seeking an experienced Lead Site Supervisor to join our Squamish team.

We build high performance custom homes in the Sea to Sky and have several exciting projects lined up for 2025 and beyond. We are looking to add an experienced and detail-oriented Site Supervisor to our tight knit team.

The ideal candidate comes from a history of working on high end custom projects and brings extensive experience, a passion for the craft, organization and attention to detail to the team.

This position is for an experienced carpenter who has previously managed crews and has extensive experience managing custom residential construction jobsites.

  • 15 years in construction min
  • 5 years min in a foreman / site super role
  • 5 years min working on high end custom single-family projects

You will be dealing with all aspects of managing the construction site:

  • scheduling work, trades and inspections
  • managing quality control of all work
  • reporting and logging
  • estimating, take offs, procurement
  • site safety and professionalism
  • Organizational and communication skills are key as you’ll be planning and organizing our staff and trades.
    • You are organized - and so are your sites and your communication
    • You are constantly looking ahead and planning
    • You are leader who can manage, mentor and motivate a crew of carpenters and apprentices
  • Versatility in construction and carpentry skills as well as attention to detail are essential – you know what needs to be done, you have solutions for the task at hand, you are confident in evaluating and taking action.
    • Your attention to detail and striving for perfection are your great skills, you welcome
      challenges and see problem solving as a rewarding part of the job
  • Computer skills are essential; you should be comfortable on Microsoft Outlook and office products. You will be using our online based management software on laptop and phone to build schedules, log reports, hours, etc.
  • You are a highly skilled carpenter (red seal carpenter or equivalent) with extensive experience building custom homes
    • Forming, Framing, Finish Carpentry and Siding experience is critical – you should be experienced in these areas at a high level
  • You take ownership of your projects and great pride in their and your team’s success
    • Site professionalism, safety and efficiency are critical to you

Salary: TBD based on experience
